How do you play Watermelon Merge?
Watermelon Merge is a free browser fruit-merging game. Aim inside the bottle and release a fruit. When two fruits of the same level touch, they merge into the next level. Build up through 11 levels while keeping room below the dashed line.
What happens when you make a watermelon?
The default Baby fruit set starts with cherries and ends with a watermelon. Make a level-11 watermelon by merging two level-10 fruits. Two level-11 watermelons clear together, award 66 points and free up space, so the round can continue.
How can you keep the pile low?
Use the Next preview to plan a place for the following fruit. Keep matching levels near each other and avoid trapping small fruit under a large stack. Let a rolling fruit settle before choosing your next drop; there is no countdown forcing you to hurry.

Watermelon Merge: questions and fixes
Is Watermelon Merge free, including the skins?
Yes. The game and every included skin are free to use. You do not need an account or a payment to play or select a look.
Can I play without downloading an app?
Yes. Open this page in a browser with JavaScript and Canvas enabled; no app installation or account is required. The browser still needs to load the page, images and audio. This is different from offline play, and the site does not bypass a school, workplace or network block.
Can I play offline?
Once the page and game assets have loaded, a running round does not need an online service. Reopening or reloading the hosted site offline is not guaranteed: it has no installed offline cache. The separate portable HTML edition bundles its assets for offline use, if you already have that file.
Why did my saved game or best score disappear?
Your round, best score, skins and language are saved in this browser when local storage is available. They do not sync across devices, browser profiles or domains. Private browsing, blocked storage or clearing site data can remove or prevent saves. Return in the same browser on the same address; an older domain’s save does not move automatically.
Can I play on a phone or keyboard?
On a phone, drag inside the game area to aim and release to drop. With a mouse, move to aim and release to drop. Focus the board to use Left/Right to aim, Space or Enter to drop, and P to pause.
Why are two touching fruits not merging?
Only fruits of the same level can merge. With mixed skins, similar-looking fruit may belong to different levels; check the numbered fruit-family strip. A fruit that has just been created by a merge also has a short merge cooldown. Let the pile settle before dropping another fruit into a tight gap.
Why does a click, tap or key sometimes not drop fruit?
Mouse and touch controls drop on release, not when you first press. Drops are at least 0.4 seconds apart, and input is disabled while loading, paused, showing a dialog or after game over. Close any dialog and choose Keep playing if paused. For keyboard controls, focus the board first, then use Space or Enter.
Why is there no sound?
First click or touch the page, then check that Sound is on and that the browser tab and device are not muted. Browsers can block audio until you interact with the page. The game remains playable without sound; an unavailable audio file does not change the merging rules.
What if the game is blank or stays on the loading screen?
Check your connection, allow JavaScript for this site and try reloading in an up-to-date browser. The game needs Canvas support and its local image files to load. If your network blocks the site, use an approved connection or ask its administrator. Avoid clearing site data as a first fix because it can erase your saved round and best score.
Do skins change the physics or help me score more?
No. All fruit sets use the same 11 collision sizes, scoring, drop cooldown and overflow rules. You can mix a different appearance for each level without losing the round. Use the numbered fruit-family strip to identify matches when the fruit names or pictures differ.

Analytics choices
Analytics is off without JavaScript.
Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits, page views and enabled automatic interactions, such as scrolling and outbound clicks. You can refuse and keep playing.
Data and regional settings
When enabled, Google Analytics 4 uses first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_0EVYRRCM6Y, up to 180 days) to measure visits, pages, basic device information and approximate location. Enhanced Measurement stays on and may record scrolling, outbound clicks, searches, downloads, video or form interactions when enabled and applicable. Google receives these measurements, which may include page or link URLs, query parameters, referrers and search terms. Our single initial page-view payload omits query strings and fragments and reduces its referrer to the origin; this does not redact all automatically collected events. We add no custom game-score, saved-round or skin-choice events or Google signals. These controls manage Google Analytics only; advertising and any related choices are described separately in the privacy policy.
Cloudflare provides a country code through this site to choose the default: analytics requires your permission in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and when the region is unknown. Elsewhere analytics starts by default. The country check does not contact Google. Rejecting stops future measurement and attempts to remove accessible first-party GA cookies. It cannot undo requests already in flight or erase data already received by Google.

Your explicit choice and notice version are saved in this browser until you change them or clear site data. If storage is blocked, the choice may last only for this page. Closing these choices is not permission. A necessary rejection-only cookie (watermelon_analytics_denied, up to 400 days) backs up your opt-out if possible. Game saves remain separate.
