Move to aim · Release to drop
Your first round of this Suika-style game
The board above is ready to play. You do not need an account, a download, or a separate game window. The aim is to grow a level-11 watermelon while keeping the pile below the dashed line. Use the steps below for the controls and the rules specific to this version.
1. Aim, then release your first fruit
On a computer, move the pointer over the board to choose a position, then click and release to drop. On a phone, drag inside the board and lift your finger. The fruit falls on release, so you can adjust your aim before letting go.
For keyboard play, focus the game board, use the left and right arrows to aim, and press Space or Enter to drop. P pauses the round. There is a 0.4-second gap between drops; pressing faster will not create extra fruit.
2. Match levels and watch the next fruit
Two touching fruits of the same level become one fruit of the next level. Different levels cannot merge. The numbered fruit strip beside the board shows all 11 levels in the appearance you have chosen, which is useful when you mix skins.
Before each drop, check the Next preview as well as the fruit you are about to release. Place a small fruit where its partner can still reach it. A high stack with an isolated fruit underneath is harder to recover than a low, accessible pair. Let a rolling fruit settle before choosing the next position.
3. Make a watermelon and keep the round going
In Watermelon Merge, two level-10 fruits produce a level-11 watermelon. Making one watermelon does not end the round. Two level-11 watermelons clear together for 66 points, leaving space to continue; there is no level-12 fruit.
The dashed line is the height limit. Once fruit has landed, any part above the line can start the board's shared danger timer. If the overflow remains for two seconds, the round ends. A newly dropped fruit is not counted until it lands, but another fruit already above the line can keep the timer running.
What is different about Watermelon Merge?
This is an independent Suika game alternative with its own artwork, sounds and game rules. It is not the official Suika Game and is not presented as an official browser release. The scoring and two-watermelon clearing rule described here apply to this game.
You can choose from 88 fruit looks, 16 scenes and seven cloud decorations, all available from the start. Change the whole fruit set or dress individual levels differently. Appearance changes do not alter collision sizes, merge rules or scores. Your current round, best score and choices can be saved in this browser when local storage is available.
Questions before you play
Is this the official Suika Game?
No. The playable game on this page is Watermelon Merge, an independent fruit-merging puzzle. It uses the drop-and-merge idea, with its own artwork, sounds, scoring and clearing rules.
Can I play this Suika-style game for free?
Yes. Watermelon Merge and all included skins are free to use. There is no account registration or payment required to start a round or select a look.
Does it work on a phone without installing an app?
Yes, in a browser with JavaScript and Canvas support. Drag inside the board and release to drop. The page and its images and sounds need to load first; reopening the hosted site offline is not guaranteed.
What should I do when fruit will not drop?
Release the mouse button or lift your finger inside the board, then allow at least 0.4 seconds before the next drop. Close any open dialog and resume a paused round. For keyboard play, focus the board before pressing Space or Enter.
Can I return to an unfinished round?
When local storage is available, the round is saved in this browser and can reopen paused for you to review. It does not sync between devices or browser profiles. Clearing site data can remove the save.
Is there a time limit for planning a move?
There is no turn countdown while the pile stays below the dashed line. Overflow has its own two-second danger timer. You can pause with P or the Pause button while deciding what to do next.

Analytics choices
Analytics is off without JavaScript.
Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits, page views and enabled automatic interactions, such as scrolling and outbound clicks. You can refuse and keep playing.
Data and regional settings
When enabled, Google Analytics 4 uses first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_0EVYRRCM6Y, up to 180 days) to measure visits, pages, basic device information and approximate location. Enhanced Measurement stays on and may record scrolling, outbound clicks, searches, downloads, video or form interactions when enabled and applicable. Google receives these measurements, which may include page or link URLs, query parameters, referrers and search terms. Our single initial page-view payload omits query strings and fragments and reduces its referrer to the origin; this does not redact all automatically collected events. We add no custom game-score, saved-round or skin-choice events or Google signals. These controls manage Google Analytics only; advertising and any related choices are described separately in the privacy policy.
Cloudflare provides a country code through this site to choose the default: analytics requires your permission in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and when the region is unknown. Elsewhere analytics starts by default. The country check does not contact Google. Rejecting stops future measurement and attempts to remove accessible first-party GA cookies. It cannot undo requests already in flight or erase data already received by Google.

Closing these choices is not permission. A necessary rejection-only cookie (watermelon_analytics_denied, up to 400 days) backs up your opt-out if possible. Game saves remain separate.
